Adelaide Robb, MD, is a professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at George Washington University and Children’s National Health System. Dr. Robb is board-certified in both Adult and Child and Adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Robb did her medical training and general psychiatry residency at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, then completed her fellowship training at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in psychiatric genetics and at the George Washington University’s Children’s National Medical Center in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Robb sees children and adolescents with a variety of psychiatric disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings. Her focus is on psychopharmacology, including the study of new medications in children and adolescents with a variety of psychiatric disorders. She served as principal investigator of over 70 pediatric psychopharmacology trials in children and teenagers. Dr. Robb was the site co-PI for the NIMH study Treatment of Early Age Mania (TEAM) and the site PI for the CoLT (Collaborative Lithium Trial) study, which was a NICHD Best Pharmaceuticals for Children Act trial of lithium carbonate for pediatric bipolar disorder.
